ABOUT ME
Writing feature stories, profiles, interviews, and personal essays on topics that range from sex and relationships to feminist entrepreneurship is my gateway into new worlds.
After working as a business consultant for many years, I returned to school to earn a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Non-fiction from the University of King’s College. I have a previous graduate degree in Psychology.
My work has been published in: The Globe and Mail, Tablet Magazine, LiisBeth, Corporate Knights, This Magazine, Grown & Flown, VIA Rail's travel blog, Next Avenue, Kveller, Huffington Post, SaltScapes, East Coast Living, and many other places. You can also find hundreds of stories on my old blog, The Relationship Deal.
I live in Ottawa with my husband. We have two adult sons. When I am not writing, I am often in the kitchen because nothing makes me happier than being surrounded at the dinner table by family and friends. I speak French well enough to get in—and out—of trouble, and speak Hungarian (my maternal tongue) poorly.
